Overview

NEX is a strength-training and workout tracking app designed to help you log workouts, track progress, and manage your training history. This Privacy Policy explains what information NEX collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. See also our Privacy Choices page.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address and a user identifier.
  • Workout data: exercises, sets, reps, weight, rest times, workout history, and training preferences.
  • Bodyweight data: only if you choose to enter it.
  • Health and fitness data: only if you choose to connect Apple Health / HealthKit.
  • Device and diagnostic data: only as needed for app performance, crash diagnostics, or troubleshooting.
  • Support communications: messages and information you send when contacting support.

How we use information

  • Create and manage your account
  • Log and display your workout history
  • Calculate progress, personal records, trends, and recommendations
  • Sync and back up your data across devices
  • Improve reliability and troubleshoot issues
  • Respond to your support requests

Apple Health / HealthKit

HealthKit access is optional. NEX only accesses HealthKit data with your explicit permission. HealthKit data is never used for advertising and is never sold. You can review or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.

Third-party services

NEX relies on a small number of service providers to operate the app:

  • Supabase for authentication, database storage, and cloud sync.
  • Apple services for HealthKit integration and App Store functionality.
  • Diagnostics and performance monitoring tools may be used to identify crashes and improve reliability.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising. We may share data only with:

  • Service providers needed to operate NEX (such as hosting and authentication)
  • Authorities when required to comply with applicable law
  • Parties as necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service

Data retention

Account and workout data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your data at any time, or request that we delete it on your behalf.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app where available, or by visiting our Delete Account page. You can also email support@thenex.fit.

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of your personal data by contacting support@thenex.fit. See our Privacy Choices page for details.

Children's privacy

NEX is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using NEX, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
